Our Philosophy About Adoption
Meredith is 36 and Chris is 34. They have two adopted boys, Cody age 5 and Ryan age 3.
Meredith is a part-time hairstylist at this time, once they are placed with another adoption she will be a stay at home mom. Chris is a property and casualty insurance
agent at a family owned agency. Both Chris and Meredith attended
college but their career paths became available without the completion
of college. They are financially secure.
They are Catholic. This family lives in Grand Rapids, MI.
Chris, Meredith, Cody and Ryan are Caucasian. They are wishing
to adopt a child age 0-3 of any race or ethnicity. They hope to have an
open adoption as they have them with their current children's
birthparents, but fully respect the boundaries requested by the placing
parents.

Our Philosophy About Adoption
Close to 11 years ago Meredith and I met through some mutual friends and now after 8 years of marriage we are trying to grow our family once again. We are a close knit family and love spending time with our extended family. Both Meredith and I came from families of 5 and we are looking to fill our family to 5 or larger, whatever God has in store for us.
About Chris (by Meredith):
Chris is a fun loving guy, who loves meeting new people. He is an extremely interactive dad and enjoys making "dad's famous waffles" and bacon for breakfast on Sunday mornings. I lean on Chris to be the spontaneous and out going person in our relationship.
About Meredith (by Chris):
Meredith is a great mother and wife. She is a caring, compassionate person who enjoys organizing everything and shopping. She has a special love for playing with our boys and cooking. Over the years she has become a wonderful cook and does an amazing job inventing recipes. Meredith is my best friend and is the most family oriented person I know.
About Dakoda:
Dakoda (who likes to be called Cody) is our first child, our sweet little preemie. He was born 9 weeks early but you would never know it because he is the tallest boy in his class. Cody is our little politician, he loves talking to everyone, and knows exactly what they need to hear, and rarely does he get shy. He loves talking on the phone, reading, camping with dad, snuggling with mom before bed and always being on the move. He is a great big brother and he is at his happiest when the whole family is together.
About Ryan:
Ryan is our second child, our all American boy. He can't go outside without finding a puddle, mud or something to make him dirty. He loves to play with his cars, trains and wrestle with dad. However, he never gives up a chance to cuddle with his blah blah (blanket) and mom. Ryan is excited to become a big brother and wants us to adopt 10 baby brothers and sisters at one time...Hah!
We live in a nice family friendly neighborhood and our boys love playing outside. We enjoy spending our summer weekends at Sweetie Grandma and Papa's cottage on a lake.
More than anything else our families' biggest priority is our family. Our hearts are eager to embrace a sweet little someone with love.
Sincerely,
Christopher, Meredith, Dakoda and Ryan

Our Philosophy About Adoption
Having gone through two prior adoptions, we have seen how destiny works its course. We believe that God brings together families that are perfect for each other. Not only have we gained two wonderful beautiful children, we have also gained wonderful birthparents, birthgrandparents and many other special extended family members in our lives.
We believe it is important for our children to fully know who they are and where they come from, that they are loved, that the decision to place them in an adoptive home was by the far the hardest decision their birthparents ever encountered.
We have had such great experiences in the past, we look forward to embarking on an adoption journey once again!
Just for fun

Our Philosophy About Adoption
With two small active boys, most of our time is spent close to home or with family at the family's cottage. We like spending time doing things that our kids enjoy, swimming, riding bikes, getting dirty, camping, going to Chuck E. Cheese and play gyms are among our favorites. Meredith loves to cook; Chris, Cody and Ryan love to eat. We make it a point to sit and have a family meal together every night. When there are random times without the kids, Chris enjoys playing golf and volleyball. Meredith enjoys shopping and having lunch with friends, her Mother and her sister. When the kids have random times without their parents they love going on "dates" with Sweetie Grandma and Papa and spending the night in Grandma's bunk beds. And sometimes our favorite time of the day is when the boys have gone to bed and a movie goes into the DVD player! :0)
