Matched! Please consider another of our loving families!
Hi! We want to be a light for Jesus Christ and a safe harbor for you during a time when life must be so difficult. We want you to know that we love you, we pray for you daily and we will always speak of you with love. There is a beautiful verse in the bible in Proverbs 16:24 it says, “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” We think that you making an adoption plan is courageous and filled with love for your precious child. We will pray for you always and would love to share the love of Jesus with you and your child. Becoming Christians changed our lives and gave us joy and hope in all circumstances. God has given us many difficult trials in our lives but He uses those trials, if we allow Him to, as times to draw us near to Him and lean on Him for strength and comfort. God loves you, He created you, He created your baby and God will never leave you. We have not lived perfect lives and do not always make the right decisions but we serve a God that forgives, loves and can easily wash away our sins by the blood of His son Jesus. All you have to do is believe that God is the Lord of your life and live to follow Him. He will forgive you, love you and bring you more joy than you have ever experienced. It is hard to imagine as much as we all love this baby that God loves him/her more than we ever could. We love you but God loves you even more. May the love of Jesus Christ give you joy and peace.
We have 6 beautiful children ages 18, 16, 14, 11, 6 and 3. Our first four children are biological and our second two were our foster babies and then were adopted into our family. You may be wondering why we would be wanting to adopt again with a home full of children. With each child God has added to our family whether through natural birth or adoption we feel we have been given a beautiful and precious gift. We LOVE having a big family and feel God grows our love exponentially through our children. We would LOVE to grow our family once again and would consider it a blessing and a joy to have more children!!!!
We live in a rural town on a 5 acre hobby farm. We have a home that is fun, welcoming and filled with joy. The love of Jesus is felt when you are at our house. Our children and their friends hang out here often. We have family and friends that stop by just because. We have a large yard, a swimming pool and lots of decks to hang out on. In the yard is a tree fort, a playhouse, a sandbox, swings and a slide. We have had people joke with us that our property is more like a park than a backyard. We also have a very large old barn that we have renovated. In the barn is basketball hoop, a swing, hammocks and a fort made of hay and straw until it is fed to animals that live in the basement of the barn. We have at least a dozen goats, 2 sheep, 2 cows, chickens, ducks and a barn cat named Al. Inside our home we are very casual, not fancy at all. Our home is organized and clean but very warm and welcoming. Although we have a nice sized home we joke because we are usually all in the same room because we enjoy spending time together. Our kids happily share bedrooms with loft beds Ryan has built them and decor to fit each of their personalities.
I’m Kim, the mama and wife of this delightful crew. I was a special education teacher for 10 years but for the past 11 years I have been a stay at home mom and homeschool teacher of our children. I am joyful, happy, compassionate, loving, patient and organized but most of all I love God with every fiber of myself and find all of my joy and peace in my love for Jesus. I LOVE being a mama and a wife!!!! People tell me often that I need to take time for myself. I enjoy quiet time with God and reading my bible but aside from that what makes me the happiest is taking care of my family, playing with my kids and I actually love cooking and cleaning.
Hey! I am Ryan, the dad and husband of this crew. I have worked for a software company for the last 18 years. I am fortunate to be able to work from home often which allows me to spend more time with my family. I feel God has provided this stable job for my family for all of these years, however my true passion is not sitting behind a desk. I am passionate about my wife, my kids, working on our hobby farm and of course woodworking. I love to create, build, repair and make anything that involves tools and wood. I love to serve God and share the love of Christ with anyone I can.
Keegan (18) is the oldest of the kids. Keegan is attending Moody Bible Institute online to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry leadership. Keegan is kind and mature beyond his years. Keegan chose to attend college online because he wants to be a part of his siblings lives while they are growing up instead of being away at college. Keegan loves 4-H, playing in the worship band at our church, studying God’s word and sharing the gospel with others.
Kelton (16) is the second oldest. Kelton is playful, fun, energetic and loves to be silly. Kelton loves to be outside caring for animals, building things and playing rugby. Kelton enjoys playing the drums in the worship band at church, attending bible study, being a part of 4-H and wrestling and playing with his younger siblings.
Kennedy (14) is kid number three but the oldest girl. Kennedy is loving, nurturing and very helpful with everything from caring for all of her siblings, doing household chores, cooking, laundry and outdoor chores in the barn, Occasionally we find Kennedy sleeping in a hammock in the barn because who doesn’t like a good nap. Kennedy loves to read and study her bible. Kennedy is learning how to play the keyboard from a friend at church because she would like to play in the worship band with her brothers.
Kealyn (11) is the youngest girl and number 4 in birth order. Kealyn is a joy and a delight! Kealyn plays with her younger brothers, Kooper and Kal for hours a day. She is patient, creative and playful. A strength of Kealyn’s is her energy, heart for Jesus and her willingness to serve and bless anyone she is with. Being outside playing on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, walking her goats and sheep and helping with chores are all activities Kealyn enjoys. Basketball and ultimate frisbee are also ways Kealyn likes to spend her time.
Kooper (6) is our first adopted son. Super Kooper is one of the most amazing gifts God has blessed our family with. Kooper has a gentle, sweet disposition and is happy nearly all of the time. Kooper loves to play with cars, tractors and his little brother Kal. Kooper has a variety of special needs including cerebral palsy and developmental delays but we would not change anything about Super Kooper. As the bible says in Psalm 139:14,”I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Kallahan (3) or Kal as we call him, is our second adopted son. Kal is full of energy, curious and a thinker. Kal spends his day exploring anything and everything he can find. Being silly, playing with toys and his brother Kooper are some of his favorite activities. Kal also has some special needs, one of those being a trach, although he will be having surgery in September to rebuild his airway and Praise God he will not longer need a trach. We will be able to hear his precious little voice for the first time. Kal’s adoption journey and medical needs have allowed us to see the grace and love of God is all circumstances.
A verse our family refers to often is this. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
As you make decisions for your baby and your future we are praying for you. It is hard to imagine as much as we all love this baby that God loves him/her more than we ever could. We love you but God loves you even more. May the love of Jesus Christ give you joy and peace.
