Before you apply to adopt, you must attend an Orientation Meeting. Discussion topics include types of adoption programs, children served through adoption, the adoption process, current laws, agency policies, fees, and information regarding support services available. Time is provided for questions. There is no charge to attend these meetings.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP for one of our 2018 Orientation meetings! They are currently scheduled from 5:30-7:30 on Thursdays: our next scheduled one is Thursday September 13.
Adoptive Family Meetings
In 2018 these monthly meetings will generally occur the third Thursday of each month from 6:30-8 PM. They provide an avenue for families working with our children to come together, ask for help and to support each other. Great relationships are developed amongst our adoptive families which is very helpful in your lifelong adoption experience. We discuss the challenges, questions and successes happening in our families’ lives. Families earn training hours required by law. Agency updates occur at these meetings as well.
Our next event is actually an ALL FAMILY EVENT which our Adoptive Families and our Birthfamilies are all invited to! We will have a picnic, swimming, self-propelled boating, games and great fun! It will take place on Sunday August 19th from 4-9 PM in Ionia, MI. Contact email@example.com for more information.
Please email either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for more information!
